Description

Nicotine is a chemical pesticide that is extracted from the leaves of the tobacco plant. It has long been used as a chemical insecticide, but its use has decreased because of the development of more effective synthetic pesticides. Nicotine also has been used in the treatment of human pathogens and parasites. Nicotine is an acetate extract that can be found in logistic regression and surface methodology experiments. Nicotine can be identified by light emission and polymorphic reactions. Lc-MS/MS methods are used to detect nicotine in reaction solutions at high levels of resistance, which are usually associated with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, and collapse.
