Description:
Phytol is an anti-inflammatory cytokine that is produced by plants. It inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-1β, and has been shown to have a protective effect on the liver. Phytol also inhibits the growth of cancer cells in vitro and has been shown to be effective against insect pests.
