Description:

(+)-trans-Taxifolin is a natural compound that belongs to the group of flavonols and has been shown to have hypoglycemic, antiinflammatory, and antioxidant effects. It has been shown in animal studies to decrease blood sugar levels, inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines, and reduce oxidative stress. The basic structure of (+)-trans-Taxifolin is similar to that of dihydroquercetin. The optimum concentration for (+)-trans-Taxifolin was determined using an in vitro assay with human osteosarcoma cells. This compound showed synchronous fluorescence when mixed with co2 flow. Trans-taxifolin also reacts with basic proteins such as albumin.
