Description:
Arnicolidec is a sesquiterpene lactone that has been used in Chinese medicine preparations to treat chronic bronchitis, cough, and asthma. This compound is derived from the centipedae, angelicae dahuricae, and ganoderma lucidum. Arnicolidec has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on neuronal death and phosphatase activity. It also inhibits the replication of herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and growth factor production by human lung cancer cells.
