Product Information
Cauloside C is a plant glycoside that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective effects. It has been shown to inhibit the uptake of hydroxyl radicals by scavenging reactive oxygen species, as well as to protect against injury induced by ischemia reperfusion. In addition, cauloside C has been shown to have a protective effect on the mitochondrial membrane potential in cardiac cells. Cauloside C also inhibits the cytosolic calcium influx and reduces oxidative stress. This compound may be useful for the treatment of congestive heart failure.
